COOKIE POLICY
July 2026
HTTPS://MANCERAPARFUMS.COM/ITA/EN/ (“ Website”)
This cookie policy describes the types of cookies and other tracking tools used on the website www.manceraparfums.com/ita/en (hereinafter, the “Website”), their purposes and how users can manage their preferences.
This notice is provided in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, and in accordance with the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.
The data controller for personal data collected via cookies is indicated in the Website’s privacy policy, to which you are referred for contact details.
2. What are cookies and other tracking tools
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and then sent back to those same websites on your next visit.
Whilst browsing, you may receive cookies set by both this Website (‘first-party’ cookies) and by other websites or web servers (‘third-party’ cookies).
Tools such as pixels, web beacons, scripts and fingerprinting technologies are also considered tracking tools if used to track users’ behaviour; the Data Protection Authority’s rules on cookies also apply to such tools when they perform similar functions.
3. Classification of cookies
3.1. By duration
• Session cookies: these are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
• Persistent cookies: these remain stored on the device until they expire or are manually deleted by the user.
3.2. By origin
• First-party cookies: sent to the browser directly from the Website’s domain.
• Third-party cookies: sent from domains other than that of the Website (e.g. analytics or advertising service providers).
3.3. By purpose
In accordance with the Data Protection Authority’s 2021 ruling, cookies are categorised as follows:
• Technical cookies: necessary for the functioning of the Website or for providing a service requested by the user. These include:
o navigation or session cookies, which are essential for using the Website and accessing restricted areas;
o functionality cookies, which enable preferences (language, geographical area, shopping basket, consent) to be remembered and improve the browsing experience;
o analytical cookies treated as technical cookies, used to produce aggregated statistics on the use of the Website when they employ measures that significantly reduce their ability to identify individuals (e.g. masking portions of the IP address) and do not allow the data to be cross-referenced with other information held by third parties.
• Non-technical analytical cookies: used to collect statistical information on the use of the Website, including via third parties, which do not fully meet the conditions for being treated as technical cookies; these require the user’s consent.
• Profiling and marketing cookies: designed to create user profiles and send personalised advertising messages based on preferences expressed whilst browsing. The installation of these cookies requires the user’s free, specific and informed consent.
4. Cookies actually used by the Website

• will only be installed with the user’s prior consent;
• will be listed in detail in the banner and/or in an update to this policy, specifying their name, domain, duration, purpose, legal basis and how consent is managed.
5. Legal basis for processing via cookies
The processing of personal data carried out via the cookies listed above is based on the following legal grounds:
• For technical cookies (navigation, functionality, consent management, shopping basket, country, session):
o performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at the user’s request (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
o in certain cases, the data controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring security, usability and the proper provision of services (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
• For non-technical analytical cookies
o the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
• For any profiling/marketing cookies:
o the user’s consent for marketing and profiling purposes (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
Consent given may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
6. Consent management via banners
In accordance with the Data Protection Authority’s 2021 Guidelines:
• Upon first accessing the Website, an information banner is displayed which:
o clearly indicates the presence of technical and analytical cookies (and any profiling/marketing cookies);
o specifies that technical cookies are already active as they are necessary for the Website to function;
o offers the option to:
accept all cookies;
reject all non-technical cookies (“strictly necessary”);
customise your choices by selecting analytics and marketing cookies on a granular basis.
• The Website does not install non-technical analytical cookies or profiling cookies until the user has given their consent by clicking on the relevant button or selecting the corresponding category in the preferences panel.
7. How to manage and delete cookies
7.1. Via the management panel on the Website
Users may change their cookie preferences at any time by:
• clicking on the ‘Cookie settings’ link or the dedicated icon in the footer of the Website;
• reopening the banner panel to:
o enable or disable the categories of analytical and profiling/marketing cookies (where applicable) separately;
o withdraw their previously given consent in full.
Withdrawal of consent applies only to future processing and does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
7.2. Via your browser settings
In addition, you can configure your browser to accept or reject some or all cookies (for example, by blocking third-party cookies). You can also use ‘incognito mode’ to limit the automatic storage of data and cookies, or install add-ons to block cookies (e.g. add-ons to disable Google Analytics).
Disabling technical cookies may affect the proper functioning of the Website or some of its features (e.g. shopping basket, login, language), whilst disabling analytical and profiling cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site but may reduce the quality of the service and the relevance of promotional content.
8. Third-party cookies and data transfers
Some cookies and other tracking tools, in particular those used by Google Analytics, are managed by third parties. In such cases:
• these parties are independent data controllers in respect of the data collected via their own cookies;
• you may also manage your consent via the systems made available by the third parties (e.g. opt-out panels, account settings, ‘Ad Settings’ tools).
Data generated by Google Analytics and any advertising platforms may be processed on servers located outside the European Economic Area; in such cases, the data controller ensures that appropriate safeguards for data transfers are in place in accordance with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses, additional security measures).
For further details on the data processing policies and cookies used by the main third parties, please refer to their respective privacy policies (e.g. Google, Meta/Facebook, Instagram) as indicated in the Website’s privacy policy.
9. Rights of data subjects
Users may exercise, vis-à-vis the data controller, the rights set out in Articles 15 and 22 of the GDPR, including:
• access to personal data processed via cookies;
• rectification or erasure of data;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to processing based on legitimate interests;
• data portability, where applicable;
• withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
It is also possible to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if it is considered that the processing is in breach of the law.
10. Updates to the cookie policy
This cookie policy may be subject to periodic updates to reflect changes in legislation, guidance from the supervisory authority or changes in the technologies used by the Website.
Any significant update will be announced on the Website and, where necessary, consent will be requested again via the banner.
